4 Types Of Support

Relationships, and the support you receive can help reduce your stress. On the other hand, a lack of support or negative relationships can add all sorts of stress to your life.

If you want to get the most out of each WOD, you will need a great support team. The people who you trust and lean on should provide you with:

  • Emotional Support (comfort, love)
  • Encouragement (improving your self-esteem)
  • Informational Support (guidance/advice)
  • Tangible Support (helping you do a task etc.)

What kinds of support do you need more of?

Are the key relationships in your life helping you with the stress of training, competing, and staying on a committed schedule? If not, what changes do you need to make?

Who can you lean on more?

Do you surround yourself with people who don’t provide you with any support? Why?
