Life gets hectic, and it’s “easy” to put off the stuff that often matters most. Why is that? When we are feeling most “burnt out” it’s simply because we haven’t prioritized correctly and we haven’t created time for play, stillness, and connecting. Instead of doing what most others are doing, can you make a conscious effort this holiday season to stay grounded, and prioritize your health and mindset?
Meaningful, positive relationships play a vital role in overall well-being. The more quality time we spend with the people who really light us up, the better.
Your Challenge For Today:
Set up a date (phone, video chat, or in person) with someone who you haven’t caught up with in a while. Of course, this is to be with someone who you’ve been meaning and wanting to connect with. Create a time, and follow up, so that you don’t let it continue to be pushed back.
Don’t you always feel better when you’ve spent time with someone who means a lot to you, catching up and just “being” together? Create time each day to connect with your loved ones, send texts, make phone calls and reach out to the people who mean the most to you. It’s one of the quickest pick-me-ups there is.
