How To Get Through When You’re Feeling Overwhelmed

Mick-Fowler-SulamarWe get completely overwhelmed thinking about what’s going to happen next, or at times, how we are going to make it through tough situations.  We can become almost paralyzed, because we don’t want to “mess up”, and the fear can just be crippling.

Have you been there? Are you there right now? Is something causing you to stress, because you’re not sure what you should do or how it’s going to turn out?

Try this

  • Focus on this simple motto/advice (whatever you want to call it): “Take the next best step”

The bottom line is, we don’t know how things are going to turn out and we just have to try, in order to learn and go forward. We will make mistakes and that’s how we will learn and flourish. Where you are right now, is where you are right now. There’s no use complaining about it, or beating yourself up about it. All that matters is how you’re going to respond, and what you’re going to do about it.

Just take the next best step.
