You can learn to “get comfortable with the uncomfortable” in your physical training and also in your life outside of the box.
There are many ways that you can improve as an athlete that have nothing to do with lifting heavier or moving faster. If you can continue to challenge and improve your mindset, then you will continue to see huge gains in your WODs.
Today, I want to challenge you to ask this simple question to at least 3 people in your “inner circle”. Ask people who are important to you and who you want to continue to keep close to you.
- What can I do to be a better ______ (friend, husband, girlfriend, training partner, coach, client, etc.) to you?
That’s it. That simple question can be monumental in your relationship with someone. Get a little uncomfortable today and try asking that question today to 3 or more people. No excuses.
