If you’re early, you’re on time. If you’re on time, you’re late.
Get to classes, appointments, meetings, reservations, and plans early. It’s plain and simple. If you are regularly “running late” for things, plan to be there 30 minutes early (or more if that doesn’t work). Work to change your habits. Don’t say that you’re “just one of those people who’s always late to everything”. That’s called settling and we don’t like that here at mentalitywod.com.
- Being punctual will reduce stress and help ease your mind from the guilt, worry, and pressures that often come along with being late.
- Being early or on time will show that you are able to be trusted and relied on. It will show others that you respect them and respect yourself because you keep your word.
Worst case scenario, if you don’t plan right and you are going to be late… let the other people know as soon as you can, so they can plan accordingly.
