How many minutes each day do you spend relaxing? One of the best ways to reduce stress and to stay balanced, is to spend time unwinding.
– Write down at least 10 things that help you feel very relaxed and/or rejuvenated
Then, for the next week, try this
- At the end of each day, add up how many minutes you spent doing something from your list
- Then write down next to that number “too little”, “just right”, or “way too much” so you can get a pulse on much downtime you really want and need
I suggest accumulating about 60 minutes of downtime. This may be done with little breaks or all at once. If I get any less than that…I am not my best.
