This is an important aspect of mental training – You are conditioning your mind to always find a proactive and positive solution instead of getting consumed with negative thought patterns that affect your performance.
- “If-then planning” can be used to prep for a WOD or for any other situation. The key is to continue to repeat the sentence over and over to yourself, so that it becomes automatic and so that you realize that there is always a solution to any barrier.
