(021) With Conviction

Develop your confidence by talking to yourself and repeating mantras. When you speak key words to yourself, use some energy and conviction. Don’t be ho-hum when you’re saying “I’m a great athlete” and “I’m prepared for anything”. Even when you doubt what you are saying, you have to practice saying it like you believe it.

Make a list of words or phrases that make you feel positive and good. Get at least 10 of them on paper. Practice saying these words and phrases in the midst of a WOD.  Say them outloud or say them to yourself. Whatever you do, say them with some damn conviction.
